East-end units battle house fire.
On Wednesday at 2342, Richmond Fire units were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 1200 Block of North 26th Street. Quint11 arrived on scene with a 2-story wood frame house with heavy fire showing from sides A & B. Units begin an aggressive interior attack but conditions begin deteriorating and units switched to defensive fire attack. Rescue 1 discovered one person trapped on the 2nd floor in the rear of the house and placed a ground ladder in service to remove that person. That person was arrested by Richmond Police and charged with arson. Units remained on location unit 3 a.m.
