At 1249 on November 11th, Richmond Fire units were dispatched to 2100 block of Halifax Avenue for a reported house fire. Rescue 3 arrived on scene with a 2-story wood frame residence with flames visible on the D side of the structure. Rescue 3 and Q-13 entered the house and found fire on the first and second floor. The fire was extinguished with 1 ¾ handlines. The Red Cross was called in to assist four people displaced by the fire. The fire was marked under control at 1303. Fire investigators remained on scene until 1500.
